Oil-Sep Coalescer Plus

A properly installed and maintained Oil-Sep Coalescer Plus can reduce oil/water concentration to the 2-20 PPM(W) range for non-soluble/emulsifying oils. To ensure proper performance, sample and test water periodically.

Copper Separator/Diffuser -Accepts condensate under pressure up to 250 PSIG/17 BAR G.
Rugged Construction -Stainless steel, copper and coated carbon steel construction prevents rust and corrosion; and unlike plastic, lasts longer.
Coalescer(s) provide longer contact time and vertical in-depth coalescing for maximum separation.
Carbon Adsorber -Easy to replace carbon adsorber removes traces of oil in water.
Drain Plugs -Allow for easy cleaning.
Sampling Valve -Water cloudiness signals service is needed.

Inspection Sight Glass
Oil-Skimmer Adjustment -adjustable up (less oil discharge) or down (more oil discharge). It shall be at least 1/4" (6mm) above the water level. The sight glass provides easy adjustment.
Vapor Adsorber -Adsorbs oil vapors.

Six-Step Separation

Step 1
Separation of air from condensate.

Step 2
Oil vapors adsorbed, clean air discharged into atmosphere.

Step 3
Condensate flows into first coalescer. Column of coalescer media provides generous contact time and surface area for maximum separation.

Step 4
Condensate flows into the second stage coalescer, separating the remaining finer oil droplets from the water. (OSC1200 & up)

Step 5
In main reservoir, the oil droplets rise to the top and water (heavier) flows down.

Step 6
Water flows through the Carbon Adsorber where traces of oil are removed. The downward water flow improves water purification.

The Sight Glass shows superior Performance.

Oil-Sep Coalescer Plus Recommended Specifications

(Models OSC1200 and larger)

The Oil-Sep Coalescer Plus shall use a heavy-duty steel vessel, internally coated for rust prevention. It shall have a Centri-Flo type copper diffuser which accepts condensate under pressure up to 250 PSIG (17 BAR G). Two-stage coalescing, carbon adsorber and vapor adsorber shall be interconnected for maximum efficiency and compactness. Oil-skimmer shall be adjustable. The adjustment mechanism shall be stainless steel. A sight glass shall be provided for visual inspection of water, oil and oil-skimmer level. Oil-Sep Coalescer Plus shall have four pre-drilled mounting plates and legs for easy installation and mobility. It shall be Pioneer Oil-Sep Coalescer Plus Model ______.
