40F/4C PDP Gas Drying &
Filtration Systems
A conventional and
economical way to treat Landfill, Digester and
Bio gas. The system cools gas to
approximately 4°C, which condenses approximately
80 % of the incoming moisture and removes
contaminants that condense, or dissolve in it.
For maximum contaminant
removal, a COALESCING FILTER (0.01 MICRON) is
installed at the coldest point. An ENERGY
ECONOMIZER (Gas to gas heat exchanger) is used
to pre-cool and re-heat the outgoing gas.
\he system is usually
followed by an ACTIVATED CARBON ADSORBER to
purify gas further.
The R-Series is a reliable
and a less expensive system for removing
contaminants. Its key disadvantages are not
knowing when to change the media, its disposal &
potential liabilities.
For the maximum in
contaminant removal, use
Pioneer's Total Contaminant Removal System.
